We are proud to announce that in 2024, our CO2 emissions from gas used for hot water were just 0.36 kg CO2 eq per person per night during stays with us. And since we’ve also offset 100% of these emissions via Naturklima’s reforestation efforts in our province, we can say we are already at 0 kg CO2 eq emissions!!
It’s quite a record, considering that the average carbon footprint in pensions is 2.91 kg CO2 eq, and in hotels and tourist apartments it’s 29.1 kg CO2 eq, according to studies in the sector.

We are a team highly committed to environmental care, and for that we’ve reduced water, electricity, paper, ink and waste consumption, as well as the use of plastics, amenities and single-use products.
We’ve also increased our recycling rates and reduced our carbon footprint by purchasing electricity from 100% renewable sources.
Thanks to all this, we’ve obtained the demanding European Eco-label Certificate known as ECOLABEL, becoming part of a very select group of European establishments leading the way in environmental responsibility. Let’s do it together!
